Just a few thoughts that were running through my head as I was making this gif set. I know that many weren’t keen on what Olivia had to say in this scene, but it is clear that her words are a reflection of how she perceives her relationship with Fitz. We heard similar when she was talking to Anna, Pastor Drake’s long time mistress. Whether you agree with her or not, this is Olivia’s reality. When it comes down to it, that truly is the only reality that matters because she is living it.
Now that Fitz has come running back with his tail between his legs (interesting analogy, this), what does Olivia intend to do? It is clear that she isn’t for the side chick life anymore and she’s through with Fitz’s bullshit. Will she verbalize what she truly wants or will she continue to keep everything bottled up for the “greater good”? Will Fitz be able to give her more than just these “stolen moments”? Should he offer her her ultimate desire, will she be brave enough to take it?
