I kind of want the story where they DO decide to take a year off to lick their wounds and recover from their losses before coming back to NYC to start a new firm that will rise up and destroy Hardman.
Like srsly, Harvey/Jessica road trip. Except they’re driving a Mercedes and sometimes they fly first-class to Paris or Amsterdam or somewhere. “Road trip” is mostly an expression as opposed to an accurate description.
When they’re in a car Jessica insists on driving because Jessica, and Harvey gets a little recorder like the one Louis has and tapes all their conversations for Jessica’s memoirs (“I AM TOO YOUNG TO WRITE MY MEMOIRS, HARVEY, YOU PUT THAT AWAY”), and they stop off at various prestigious universities so Jessica can give lectures and make a thousand students fall in love with her, and Harvey flirts with her sloppy seconds but doesn’t follow through. And they start out getting two-bedroom suites at fancy hotels, but by the end of the year they’re sharing a king bed every night.
Occasionally Donna, who is becoming a certified yoga instructor, flies out to spend a week or so with them, and Harvey always gets jealous when she and Jessica go for ladies-only froyo.
